Assistant Professor, South Asian History

The Department of History in the Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences at the University of Southern California (Los Angeles, CA) invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship in South Asian history. A PhD is required at the time of appointment, on August 1, 2017. The application deadline is December 15, 2016.

In addition to demonstrating a compelling and promising research profile, the historian selected for this position is expected to teach both undergraduate and graduate departmental courses, including those in the General Education curriculum, and to engage actively in efforts to enhance South Asian studies at USC.
